Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne
We read the book Winnie-the-Pooh written by A. A. Milne. It is a book about a bear named Winnie the Pooh and the adventures he has with his friends.
Winnie the Pooh and his friends Christopher Robin, Rabbit and his friends-and-relations, Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga and Roo, and Owl go on an expotition to find the North Pole! After walking for some time, Pooh finds the North Pole. It is pole or stick stuck in the ground.
Honey is Pooh's favorite food. On more than one occasion he eats all the honey that is meant for someone or something else. He was going to give Eeyore some honey for Eeyore's birthday. Pooh ate all the honey before he gave it to Eeyore, so he gave Eeyore the empty honey jar. Pooh also ate the honey for the heffalump, which he and Piglet were trying to catch.
Sometimes people say Pooh has very little brain, but at the end of the story he comes up with a good idea. His friend Piglet was stuck in his house because it flooded. Piglet sent a note in a bottle for help. Pooh got the note and Christopher Robin helped him read it. The problem was Pooh and Christopher Robin could not get to Piglet because of the flood. Pooh came up with the idea to turn the umbrella into a boat. They flipped the umbrella upside down so the top was floating in the water. Then they got in the umbrella, and it worked! They floated to Piglet and saved him.
We learned that Winnie the Pooh is a good friend. He is always helping his friends like Eeyore and Piglet.
Kent: Would not recommend book. Did not like it. "I kind of like Winnie the Pooh because the stuffed animals are kind."
Joel: Maybe would recommend book. "Please eat honey while you read this book."**
Taft: Would recommend book. "I would recommend the book because the characters are stuffed animals and I like reading books about stuffed animals.
*For some reason I do not feel these recommendations are entirely accurate.
Mom: I would recommend reading Wiinie-the-Pooh if you are looking for a calm and sweet-natured adventure. Winnie the Pooh does many silly things but he always has the best and purest intentions. It is fun to read about the adventures and misadventures he has with his friends. I think we can all relate to Winnie the Pooh when we need just another little something sweet.
